RELEASE

Active Release Technique® (ART) - a hands-on soft tissue therapy that relieves tension deep in the muscles and other soft tissues utilizing the active motion of the muscles to connect neurologically and allow your body to move more freely.

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy (Graston®) - a treatment technique involving specialized stainless steel tools that allows the doctor to detect and treat trigger points, break up adhesions, and improve tissue mobility.

Cupping Therapy - a hands-on treatment utilizing suction cups. The doctor places them on the patients skin to help release tension, improve circulation, and support your body’s natural healing process. These can be done as stationary cups, with movement assisted release or in a gliding motion to allow a unique desired outcome for each patient.

Class IV Laser Therapy - a pain free advanced light-based therapy used to support tissue repair and healing, reduce inflammation, and improve range of motion in targeted areas. LightForce laser treatment can be used throughtout the body as a part of your treatment plan for both acute injuries and chronic or arthritic issues.

Dry Needling - a targeted, hands-on treatment that uses very thin, sterile needles placed directly into the muscle to release tightness or spasms, calm irritated tissue, increase blood flow, and restore healthier movement patterns. At PRIME, we utilize dry needling in two main ways:

Trigger Point Release
Needles are placed into tight or irritated muscles to help release trigger points and reduce local muscle tension.

Electrical Stimulation Dry Needling
In some cases, gentle electrical stimulation is applied through the needles to help activate muscles and promote neuromuscular re-education.
